About Flavours

Flavours is a specialist tour operator founded by Lorne Blyth in 1998. Her vision was to run cookery holidays in unspoilt Italian regions, working with local cooks and staying in exclusive, private villas.

Flavours initially offered week long holidays in Lazio, and has gradually expanded the locations on offer to also include Tuscany, Sicily, Puglia, Umbria and Bologna. Now, we really live up to our slogan 'Cooking's just the half of it' as we offer painting and pilates holidays in Italy.


Commenting on the success of the business Lorne says:

"Our growth has been very much led by demand, after sampling one location, guests are keen to repeat the experience, so I have kept the same  winning formula and spend time exploring new regions and locations. The key is to find great cooks and guides who are willing to share their knowledge and experience - I am really lucky to work with some fantastic people in off the beaten track regions of Italy."
