Umbria Itinerary

Our Italian Cooking Holidays in Umbria includes a day to enjoy the city of Orvieto as well as an afternoon of wine tasting at a local vineyard. A sample Umbria itinerary can be seen below.

Sample Itinerary:

Day one (Saturday)
Our Flavours transfer will meet you at Rome Fiumicino Airport and take you to the villa for welcome drinks followed by dinner prepared by our local chef.

Day two (Sunday)
After breakfast, your first “hands-on” cookery lesson, followed by lunch. During the afternoon you are free to relax, enjoy the pool or take a walk in the countryside. Dinner is served at the villa.

Day three (Monday)
Enjoy your second cookery lesson and then lunch. In the afternoon you visit a local vineyard for a private tasting. Return to the villa for dinner.

Day four (Tuesday)
After breakfast, a day to enjoy the local area (eg. Norcia and its famous Norcineria, or the lovely hilltop town of Todi, or the medieval town of Spoleto). Enjoy a day sightseeing or shopping at leisure. Lunch in a local restaurant. Return to villa late afternoon for dinner.

Day five (Wednesday)
This morning you will be in the kitchen for another cookery lesson and then lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool and enjoy the villa. Dinner is prepared for you at the villa.

Day six (Thursday)
This morning is your fourth cookery lesson, followed by lunch. The afternoon will be spent in a place of local interest (eg. Orvieto) with a chance to explore and do some shopping at leisure. Enjoy dinner in an excellent local restaurant.

Day seven (Friday)
After breakfast you have your final cookery lesson and lunch. Our staff are on hand to answer any questions and you can choose to relax at the villa or explore the area further. In the evening a farewell dinner is prepared for you by the chef.

Day eight (Saturday)
After breakfast our transfer will collect you and take you back to Rome Fiumicino Airport for your flight home.
