This FAQ page answers the most common questions we get asked over the phone so we hope you'll find the following helpful. TRAVEL QUESTIONS

1. Are flights included? And can I fly from a regional airport
Yes, included in the cost of the holiday is a return flight from a London airport to Italy. Regional flights can be arranged

2. Can I get a direct flight from Manchester, Newcastle, Edinbugh or Bristol?
There are a number of direct flight options, or a connecting flight, please e-mail us and we can advise on the best options for you

3. Are transfers from the airport to the venue included- do I need to hire a car?
No, guests are collected from the airport and taken to the venue by private minibus, and are transported throughout the holiday by minibus, so you don’t need to hire your own car

4. I would like to extend my stay for another few days/week is this possible?
Yes, we are able to arrange flights on alternative dates and have a wide variety of personal contacts for accommodation ranging from hotel to self catering villas- please just ask

5. Can I arrange my own flight?
Each year a number of guests organise their own flight, for example using their airmiles. In this case we would simply deduct the cost of the flight from our package price. We will also advise you of the transfer times from our flight, so you would be able to take advantage of the arranged airport transfers to the venue to save you incurring additional expense

FOOD QUESTIONS

1. Do I need to be a good cook?
No, we cater for all levels, from those who don’t know how to boil and egg to guests who are already accomplished in the kitchen

2. What type of dishes will I cook?
Each lesson includes a starter, main course and dessert. We choose dishes that reflect the best of each region, as well as trying to ensure the dishes can easily be recreated at home as well as using ingredients that are easily to source

3. Can you cater for vegetarians?
Yes, we are able to accommodate vegetarian and other special diets with notice in advance

GUEST QUESTIONS

1. My partner/friend doesn’t want to cook - can they come to?
Yes, and non-cooking partners get £100 discount per person

2. How many people do you take on each course
Our maximum number is 8 guests cooking in the kitchen and our minimum is 6

3. Can I come on my own?
Yes, many of our guests do come on their own. And we do not charge a single supplement for any of our cooking holidays
