Gay and Lesbian Travellers

We welcome all guests equally on our Italian Cooking Holidays. Many of our guests have commented on the relaxed and open attitude of our guides and this definetly extends too all aspiring cooks we have on our Italian Cooking Courses. Italy is a gay friendly destination and openly welcomes gay and lesbian visitors.

Our Italian Cooking Holidays are well known for their relaxed social atmosphere. Our guests come from a variety of backgrounds, places and ages, ranging from graduates to retirees, and everything in between. Over half of our guests travel alone due to our policy of charging absolutely no single supplement!

All of our holidays are popular with gay and lesbian travellers. Our holidays have regularly been featured in the press, such as in the October 2008 issue of She Magazine, our Bologna cookery holiday was featured in an article entitled Short Breaks...With a Difference. Our cooking holidays have also featured in BBC Homes and Antiques (February 2008). Please visit our press pages for further articles on our holidays. Our Italian Cookery Courses have also been featured on the BBC Holiday programme with Nicky Chapman, where she visited our venue in Puglia. If you'd like to watch the programme it can be found on Flavours YouTube Channel.

“I had a fantastic time with Flavours in Tuscany. I have not laughed so much in ages. I enjoyed the most amazing food and wine and learn't quite a few skills to take home with me! The one thing that made it such a great holiday was the warm and friendly attitudes of Simone and Livia as well as the new friends that I made and I am still in touch with months later! Definitely recommended! In regards to the holidays being gay friendly, I felt entirely welcome.”  Will, September 2008

Our Italian Cooking Blog is a great source of information for anything from city guides to recipes, and worth checking out for plenty of information from the guests themselves!
